That Sly Network Marketer Who’s Always Doing Crazy Stuff

They’re all members of the same club…  The New Rich (Don’t know if he coined it but I get the term from Tim Ferriss).

And they all focus on the same thing… Lifestyle Design.

So what the crap is all that about?

Creating an ideal lifestyle of your dreams.  It’s a new mentality on what life should look like.  Well not really new, but entirely more plausible now with that little know-it-all accessory called your computer.  Hell, people live these lives now with nothing more than a smart-phone!  The world has gotten a lot smaller and you need to embrace it.  It’s a jump worth making because it’ll make your life a lot easier and dump a bucket of happiness on your face every morning once you understand how to master productivity, and toss in a little geoarbitrage (leveraging global pricing and currency differences for profit or travel/lifestyle) and outsourcing.

With some ass-busting hard work in the beginning, you could be surfing in Chiba, Japan for 6 months and finally learning that second language you always wanted to.  Here’s the 4 step process on joining this club*:

1. Define: This is where you really do some soul searching and put everything into writing.  And it is very, very specific (a key factor in getting what you want, says my man Napoleon Hill).   Most important in this step, is the realization that money is nothing without an experience that it can provide you.  Life is for living.

I’m currently in Freeport, Bahamas, and a new friend, local, and spear-fisherman named Alan came over last night and made us an incredible lobster and conch dinner that I lost my mind when eating it was so good!  Anyways, we spent hours talking about everything under the sun, and the reason I bring this up is because a life-principle of Alan’s (who’s been thru quite a lot) is an importance on experience.  So naturally it hit a chord with me.  Without life experience we have no fun, and we don’t grow and better ourselves.  So when your trying to define your financial goals, think about what experiences you want to have for you or your family, and make what those experiences cost your next aim.

Definition Step: Download my free e-book ‘How To Be 500% More Productive,’ for questions and steps to help you write your goals down and make them permanent.  It has a few tips as well on how to get the universe to back you.

2. Become A Productivity Machine: This is where your personal productivity will go thru the roof and how you will get things done faster and better than you ever thought imaginable.

These principles have allowed me to live quite a crazy year.  Lot of ups and a lot of downs, but I accomplished more work-wise and travel-wise this year than ever before.

Prodcutivity Step: Same as previous, read and implement the strategies I give you in the productivity e-book.  You’ll learn email tricks, phone tricks, how to read 200% faster in ten minutes, and a ton more sweet sh*t that will really get things goin’.

3. Automation To Build Relationships: This process is by-far the trickiest of these four steps to becoming part of the New Rich.  The goal is to automate your money-making system and remove yourself as completely as possible from the equation so you can be anywhere in the world doing anything you want and things still run smoothly.

This is where your network marketing opportunity steps in.  The New Rich have many different money-making systems in all different industries but I am a serious fan of network marketing and if you are involved in this industry I don’t think you need to go out and start up anything brand new.  That is your baby, and that can be the vehicle that can get your family volunteering in disaster areas for the next year if you choose.  So long as you do learn to succumb to the internet as your main tool and harness its powers for automation in your business.

I’m not going to get into it deeply here because it is so much to go over I created a 7-part system to teach about it.  It’s called ‘The Modern MLM Manifesto,’ and you can check it out here.  But this is the gist…

Success in MLM is about two things: 1. Becoming a leader who offers a tremendous amount of value to his/her prospects and downline.  2. The ability to market yourself to your prospects.

I teach the fastest and most effective methods to developing and implementing these skills.  Which involves a module on how to align your passions with your MLM opportunity to really start loving what you’re doing.

And most importantly for this step, you need to learn how to automate as much of the tasks as you possible can so the only work you have to do is build relationships with the people that are finding you and taking interest in you.  And that’s the key, automate to increase time spent building relationships from anywhere in the world.

Automation step: Follow this blog for things I’m constantly learning on how to automate the time-consuming stuff, outsource a bunch for minimal investment, and create time.  That’s what this site is all about.

4. Experience: This is the pay-off.  This is where you start living your dreams.  You’ve created a network marketing system that works for you and allows you to build anywhere in the globe.  So why stay home?  Especially when it can be cheaper to live like a millionaire in other places in the world.

So whatever the experiences and life-goals you had for yourself and your family, take off and do them.  Life is only going to get better.  Your worked smart for it and now it’s time to have some fun.

Welcome to the club!

* This 4 step plan has been adapted from one of my favorite books: Tim Ferriss’ ’4 Hour Work Week.’  The steps are still the same but I’ve changed it to fit network marketers and I have designed all the steps for network marketers specifically.  My only issue with his novel is in the automation section, where he teaches great techniques on finding a muse (money-making automated system) to allow for long-term travel and experience.  The techniques really are great, but most are sales driven and the direct-response marketing industry has really take a drastic shift the last couple years.  People don’t want to be sold, and so creating a product for automatic sales is a really, really tough market to step into.  That’s why for most people the shift has led to leader focused value providers and why network marketing is a great industry to be in, so long as you become this person.  This process is not easy.  Nothing good ever is.  But you certainly can do it.  Cheers.
